VR narrative adventure in SPAAACE

In this VR narrative adventure, players become stowaways onboard a cargo space-freighter and discover a secret that they shouldn't have.

Developed for the Oculus Rift during my masters course at the NFTS, with writing by Matthew Dickie, music by Mathilde Koechlin, and sound design by Diego Hernandez España Cadena.
I developed Shibboleth over four weeks during a module entitled "Synthespians". The focus of this module was on creating narrative-driven games.

I decided to take on the double-challenge of making this game for VR and learning to use ink, a narrative scripting language, to run the branching story.

I also designed and implemented a diegetic UI-based minigame where players must repel a boarding party by opening and closing doors from a control panel, as well as a CCTV system that allows them to cycle through various video feeds from other areas of the ship.
